Waukesha Firebirds is a volunteer-based 501c3 non-profit organization playing in the Waukesha Firebirds Youth Sports Organization Inc. Our purpose is to offer a fun, safe environment in which to help children to develop the tools they will need to not only succeed in future levels of baseball play, but the work ethic, teamwork and positive attitude that will allow them to be successful throughout their lives.
Operating out of the Waukesha area, Waukesha Firebirds are funded by player fees and donations. Waukesha Firebirds offers multiple teams for ages 7U-14U, in which children learn the fundamentals of baseball, hard work, mental toughness and focus, as well as sportsmanship. We hope that providing an environment to strengthen our youth’s bodies and minds will give them the tools they need to grow to be strong and capable individuals who will excel not only in their sport, but also in their schooling and all future endeavors.
The past few seasons our home field has been Sunset Park and we travel to many other fields around the area and each team typically travels to at least 2 or more tournaments per season.
The typical baseball season starts in April and goes through early July. We generally host try-outs towards the end of July for the following season. Teams will typically play fall ball and train indoors throughout the winter and spring depending on sponsor funding and facility availability.
Our fans are a real part of our teams. Send us a message to learn how your athlete can try out, cheer us on, ask us a question about our training or help us to continue to improve by becoming a sponsor.
