Interested in coaching?
The Waukesha Firebirds are interested in forming new teams at all age levels, but we need more coaches.
If you are interested in coaching a new team, whether baseball or fastpitch softball, please reach out to our organization as soon as possible for more information.
AGE LEVEL ELIGIBILITY
In order to play in any given age group the cut off date is May 1st of the current season. For a player to be eligible to play in a given age group they must be that age prior to May 1st of the current season.
Example - To play U8 in 2026 a player must be no older than 8 years old as of April 30th, 2026.

Tryouts are a fun way to test your skills in your age group. We will be running drills for running, fielding, hitting and more. Bring your glove, bat and helmet and be ready to play!
Additional Information
Even if there are enough players to form a new team, if there are no volunteers willing to coach, a new team will not be feasible. Please visit the registration table if you are willing to coach a new team of any age level.
Existing teams from other organizations are always welcome to join the Firebirds. If you are on or play for an existing team in another organization and are interested in joining the Firebirds, please see any head coach. Your team will be kept intact and will not be subdivided to other exiting Firebird teams.
By submitting this form, I give my child permission to participate in the Waukesha Firebirds baseball program. I am stating my child is in good physical health. I understand the Waukesha Firebirds are not liable if my child is injured while participating in any of our tryouts and/or team activities. After a player commitment fee is submitted, there are no refunds.
