The Waukesha Firebirds play in the Waukesha Area Youth Baseball Association. The Waukesha Firebirds have been a competitive baseball organization since 1990. Since it's start volunteer coaches and members have helped more than 4,500 youth and pee-wee players in the Waukesha area enjoy their summer by learning and playing youth baseball. The WAYBA operates as a non-profit organization and is ran by unpaid coaches and volunteers. The Waukesha Firebirds have teams for many ages from U7 - U14.
The past few seasons our home field has been Sunset Park and we travel to many other fields around the area and each team typically travels to at least 2 or more tournaments per season.
The typical baseball season starts in April and goes through early July. We generally host try-outs towards the end of July for the following season. Teams will typically play fall ball and train indoors throughout the winter and spring depending on sponsor funding and facility availability.
Our fans are a real part of our teams. Send us a message to learn how your athlete can try out, cheer us on, ask us a question about our training or help us to continue to improve by becoming a sponsor.
